Live Edge American Chestnut Mantel

We were honored to craft this custom mantel from American Chestnut—an exceptionally rare and critically endangered wood that few have the opportunity to work with today. The slab’s natural beauty spoke for itself, and we carefully reinforced it with epoxy to preserve its strength while respecting its character. From there, the live edge was hand-shaped, allowing the organic form of the wood to guide the final design.

The result is a one-of-a-kind mantel, thoughtfully crafted as an heirloom piece meant to be cherished for generations.
